Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a unexpected crossover event that breaks usual predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome changes resonate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden sect.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the quest will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
